Thanks I was able to log in. I suggest you look at built in translators that will translate Dutch into English when you highlight text. They are available for web sites. Alta Vista is one- providing they are not too expensive. This should attract more users from UK and the US.

Hi Jim,

Good idea, but we put the board on english in the first place. Because there were little to no native english speaking members on the board we decided to put it to dutch only. But i will consider your suggestion and will check if this is doable for this forum.

And of course you're always welcome to post in English. Fortunately Dutch people speak English very well so communicating can be no issue. And maybe, if enough people are signing in as member we can switch the board language back to English again.

Thanks for the welcome. I've been a member for a while. Its interesting that most people from Holland speak English. Actually I should have had a clue since I visited Amsterdam years ago when my Army buddies and I drove up from Germany. Beautiful country. They tell me I had a good time in Amsterdam.

Since most members are Dutch, a built in translator seems to be the best option. As you know, few English speaking people read Dutch which makes it tough for them to participate.
